# Remove Frozen Address — POST /dac/v1/unfreeze-address

> Remove an address from the AML frozen list to allow transactions to proceed. Supply the blockchain ticker, address, and optional tag.

After your compliance team reviews a frozen address and determines it should be cleared for activity, use this endpoint to remove it from the frozen list. Once unfrozen, Finrock will allow deposits and withdrawals involving that address to proceed normally. Always ensure this action aligns with your compliance obligations and internal review process before unfreezing any flagged address.

  The blockchain ticker symbol for the network the address belongs to (e.g., `BTC`, `ETH`, `USDT`, `XRP`).

  The frozen address you want to unfreeze. Must be the exact address string as it appears in your frozen addresses list.
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="address_tag" type="string">
  The destination tag or memo (DT/memo tag) associated with the address, if applicable. Required for assets like XRP and XLM that use tags to route funds to specific sub-accounts.

## Response

A `200` response confirms the address has been successfully removed from the frozen list. A `400` response indicates the address or asset could not be found or was not frozen.
